Read your script while looking at the camera

Practical tips for a natural camera gaze: script placement, shorter lines, pauses and rehearsal with a browser teleprompter.

Move the script closer to the lens

Drag the Takt panel near your camera and increase the font size so you can read comfortably. This may reduce visible eye movement, but it does not guarantee constant eye contact.

Write for speaking

Short sentences are easier to deliver. Separate ideas with pauses and read the script aloud before recording. Try both scrolling and one-word mode to find what feels natural.

Review a short take

Record 30 seconds and watch your eye movement. Adjust speed so there is enough time to breathe and pause. A narrower reading area can help you avoid scanning across the screen.

Planned creator app

We plan near-lens script placement, vertical formats, device selection and reliable take recovery. Automatic gaze correction is not implemented and would be a separate future feature.
